Wilde Child is excited to announce that we have OFFICIALLY launched a 501c3 nonprofit horse rescue!! Our goal with Mending the Soul Equine Rescue & Sanctuary is to be able to help horses in need on a much larger scale, and continue to advocate for more humane treatment of the animals we all love so much.
Rescuing Horses the RIGHT Way
If you've been in equine industry for any amount of time, you might know that a lot of "rescues" tend to operate with some... questionable practices. Upon starting Mending the Soul, we wanted to ensure that we didn't fall into the same category. To further understand what we mean by this, hit the button below!
Surrender a Horse
Do you have a horse that you just can't take care of anymore? Maybe life has put you in a difficult position and you just can't afford it, or you've encountered a horse with severe behavioral issues you just don't know how to help... Our Surrender a Horse Program allows you the ability to ensure your horse is in good hands - no questions asked and no judgement from us. We will spend the time necessary to get your horse healthy, trained, and in a forever home, as we just want to help!

Submitting one of the above applications does NOT guarantee approval. We want to ensure we can provide every horse with the care they need - and may turn down owner-surrenders based on availability. As for adoptions, we want to match our horses with the right home, and will be doing facility tours, asking for references, and more.

Are you interested in one of the horses we've got available? Whether you've been watching their journey from the very beginning or have fallen in love with one during your visit to Wilde Child, we would LOVE to talk with you!! Our goal is to place horses in forever homes and provide happy endings to every horse we rescue and handle. Not only do we provide lifelong support, but we will take whatever measures necessary to match horses with their forever humans once their rehabilitation is complete!
