Success Stories
Running a rescue is all about helping horses in need and giving them a second chance at life. Here's some success stories of horses we have rehabilitated and adopted out to their forever families.
Maple

Maple (renamed Mabel) was rescued by a Good Samaritan and brought to Wilde Child. After getting weight on her, some training, and passing a vet check - she was adopted by a school teacher and they hit the trails regularly!
Phoenix

We rescued Phoenix off a Native American Reservation. Emaciated, halter grown into his face, hooves severely overgrown. Once we had nursed him back to health, this yearling found a wonderful home with a lady who loves him dearly!!
Tinker Bell & Peter Pan

These two donkeys were abandoned by their owners when they moved out of town. They escaped and we went to catch them in the middle of the night. After getting their health in check and teaching them the basics of groundwork - they found a home together with a family and are loved by kids on a daily basis!
