My name is Knight! I LOVE attention, whether that's face rubs, hugs, or treats! While most of my background is unknown, the story of how I came to Mending the Soul is kind of crazy. For quite some time, my owners had begun to let my care go down the drain. It hurt to walk, every day I waited by the fence for food, and as my bones began to show I knew I had to do something... So I escaped! It was only a matter of time before pictures of me started circling the internet, and a few wonderful people came to find me. I was the best boy I could be, letting them halter me, load me in a trailer, and take me to safety. My escape soon became worth it - as my days became filled with endless food, tasty grain, and lots of love from a variety of people! The people who saved me contacted animal control immediately so they could fight for ownership, which was a good thing because my last owner didn't even realize I was missing for FIVE DAYS!! It makes me sad sometimes, because every day I call to my caretakers during feeding time, show my appreciation by cuddling up to them, and don't understand why it was so difficult to feed me, much less realize I was even gone... But the past is the past, and now I am on the road to recovery!!
